it's a good reaction. she just prefers more intimate songs with a deeper meaning, so this is quite far from her taste

the song was growing on her tho

:lolga:

I knew she would be confused by it all. I was dying when she was trying to read Chromatica at the start of the MV 'what in the witchcraft is that? Does it say dragon' :ladyhaha:

(feeling so bad for my 6 year old line. Because I consider myself as receiving the music as if I had 6 years old you know ? I studied music and stuff but right now I'm in a state where I want to just be 6yrsold and bop on dance music as if I was living my best life, without the musician ear that we use to  analyse things and seek for the sounds we never heard before.

At some point it's disco, everything has been done before, what else do we need instead of dancing and loving each other ??? ) (I don't want to be catty anymore or make anyone feel bad - but yeah sometimes my words come off as rude expressions)

hello hello baby.

Why does she always think a song MUST have a deep meaning, gurl it's just a fun dance track stop :billie:

but she was BOPPINNNN

she didn't say it wasn't deep though did she? she said it was loud and the video was cheap for a gaga comeback video

She's right

...In the sense that her opinion matches mine, not that she's objectively right

Because that's all this is, one of many opinions :huntyga:

I mean, just as she said, it’s kinda of a niche song (and specially a niche video)

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

It bugs me that she thinks everything has to be so damn serious. She complained that the instrumental is too loud and her vocals were too loud so she couldn't focus on the lyrics... girl thats the point :fail:  its a dance song for a reason, its not something to be taken and analysed :fail:   this idea that everything has to be super serious needs to go. Its a fun lighthearted pop/dance song. If she likes 7 Rings by Ariana Grande, why can't she like Stupid Love? :saladga:

She really needs to loosen up and quit thinking everything needs to have a deep meaning. Can she not simply vibe to a piece of music?

It’s quite ironic cause she starts the video listening to Alejandro and living for it lol

She never said it was cheap. She wanted to pay attention to the lyrics, and she felt the instrumental was distracting. She was just confused about the video. I think she wanted more stuff like ASIB rather than Stupid Love

Why are people so obsessed about what she has to say and literally fuming because of it? :lmao:

The internet is something else, I swear..

Didn't people love Poker Face and Just Dance when they first came out? Wtf has happened to the world where we can't enjoy boppy music anymore?

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely live for songs with deep meanings, but come on.

Yeah but I think the problem that the song isn't boppy either!

REALITY

Honestly, she gave a better reaction than I thought she would. For those who didn’t watch her reaction, basically at first she didn’t really like the song, but at the end she did start to like it a little bit more. She also basically didn’t like the music video.

I love her reactions because she usually understands the deeper meaning of the song, but also, that makes her inherently inclined to not like songs like Stupid Love. It isn’t meant to be a deep, philosophical song. It’s just meant to be a fun bop you can dance to.

Going back to her reaction though, like I said, I thought it was better than what I imagined. I thought that she was going to go in and really bash the song, but you can tell that she’s at least really wanting to like it. I feel like the song will grow on her; it already has a little bit. That said, I don’t know if she’ll like this era. Of course, any lead single isn’t totally indicative of what the album will sound like, but Gaga has already said that she wants to make a record that people can just put on and dance to. If Ajay can’t do that with SL, then, well...
