To be fair, in the grander scheme of her career, The Fame and The Fame Monster are one in the same. 

 

They represent the same content from different perspectives.

It’s so annoying when people lump the two together. They are two completely separate bodies of work and even Gaga has explicitly stated that. It was just issued as a rerelease cause to build off of her debut hype

It's not Spotify, it's the record label. Every edition is still there normally, just hidden. Notice how all of Kesha's albums changed to one edition? Different labels do different things.
