Yeah I know, my point was just that she herself has said that she won't be releasing a studio album for a while now, and that she's moving into working within film soundtracks. So we should enjoy this build-up to the record, and not want a leak, because who knows when it'll be that we get another record from her... BUT YANO ;) Seriously very interested in hearing the new Yayo in full.. She had to re-make the song into a Born To Die session... That's why she changed the vocals and stuff. Honestly, I'm happy she re-released and I think it's gorgeous, I don't compare the versions, I don't need to. I'm just happy that my favorite song is her favorite song, and that it means so much to her to re-record it and release it. I think we should be discussing something more important, like the roots of the song. Anything that is redone after a while will never be as good as the original when you got used to it. it loses it's authenticity. It was the same for me with dance in the dark or Bad Romance when I heard the leaked demo before the legit album ones. It's always like that. You guys are entitled to your own opinions of course. It's just that it seems like it's the only thing you talk about. And I really don't think it's that bad. Well actually she bought back the rights to her LDRakaLG album, so she could have put it on Paradise in that form is she wanted to. Soundtracks? I thought she was interested in writting movies. Well in a recent interview in Australia, she said that she'd recorded 3 new songs that day, all for movies. So it would seem that soundtracking is the direction she's going in. She can be creative and make music that evokes strong emotions and imagery, and it doesn't require her to go on huge tours - so it seems like the right place for her tbh Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
