She calls for her longtime manager, Bobby Campbell, to play a song off her sixth studio album, and asks him to turn it up: "Louder, please." Amidst a flurry of wild animal noises, references to partying in "BC" and fierce house beats, Gaga warns listeners to "battle for your life" on the track, as she mouths each lyric to herself. ugh don't get me hyped STAN RINA SAWAYAMA
littlepotter 75,797
5- There will be a song about femininity, and the strength of both Gaga and the LGBTQ+ community in helping her "become a woman" - echoing what she has previously talked about in an episode of Rupaul's Drag Race: Untucked (Season 9, Episode 1). Confirmed lyrics: "I'm not nothing without a steady hand". Elsewhere in Chromatica, Gaga explores topics like her antipsychotic medication ("My biggest enemy is me, pop a 911") and the undeniable force of femininity ("I'm not nothing without a steady hand"), the latter of which acknowledges both her own strength as well as that of the community who has "cheer[ed] her on" and helped her "become a woman." Specifically, she calls out trans women and gay men for helping her cope with PTSD and move past any spirals associated with reliving her pain. "In 2020, what does it mean to be a free woman?" Gaga questions, prompting a song that answers this question and sees her challenging the need to be with a man — or anyone at all — in order to survive. "Can I feel free on my own? Do I need to be loved in order to feel like I've conquered it all?" Speaking to the track's origin, Gaga says, "It came from thinking on some days I was going to die. I was like, 'I'm going to die soon, so I better say something important.' Now I listen to it and know that I'm going to live." chaeri pls
littlepotter 75,797
6- The album's genre is mainly classic house, including very big dance breaks, electronic outros, synths, and emotional power-pop melodies. From start to finish, Chromatica is firmly rooted in classic house, with crisp, clubby dance breaks that all sound like they're competing with each other to be the biggest on the tracklist. Sonically, it's perhaps Gaga's most focused, consistent album to date, with all these producer contributions laddering up to the same fearless electronic tapestry, weaving in unruly breakbeat outros, emotional power-pop melodies that send a dopamine rush through the brain and tons of slick, shiny synths. You can weep to these songs just as much as you can sweat to them, and Gaga seems to be encouraging both at once. chaeri pls

PlastiscGuy 21,823
Is it possible Gaga hasn't posted anything yet cause she wants to announce the Ari collab? We know the music video is filmed, but is it finished, like edited and all that? Is it possible it isn't yet, so that's why Gaga's silent? PG. xoxo Craig 55,649
Okay guys... I'm gonna keep it 100% real cause NOW I'm getting emotional. I feel so stupid as well. When Gaga announced that the album was coming 10th April, I was so happy. Like ecstatic. It was the best news to come out of 2020... Lady Gaga will be releasing an album that I personally have waited on for 3 years. Why is the 10th April so special to me? Its my birthday. With everything going on in the world right now, Lady Gaga coming through with album that was meant to be so uplifting it was the only thing sort of giving me hope this year... and it was one of the things making me look forward to my Birthday. I can't do anything on my Birthday because of whats going on, but if I had that album, I just know I'd be dancing my ass off. I feel like I developed an emotional connection to this album already (which is crazy and sad and ugh) and I was so ready to get into it and help me get through this awful period of time, and to make my Birthday that little bit more special. I KNOW Gaga doesn't just make albums just for me, and some might think its selfish to act this way. But I need this album so much to just give me hope in me and the world. The thought of it being delayed is soul destroying and heartbreaking. Thats why I've been so defiant and not giving up hope that its delayed. I love to be optimistic all the time, but I have noticed that I've been a but much... and thats why. I am so sorry guys, I had to get that off my mind End Racism Now

Guest
4 minutes ago, littlepotter said: it's not her decision. let's not be mad at her if it happens. this. Gaga and her team are probably doing everything in their power to somehow adjust all the promo that was planned and the direction they wanted to go with it. This whole situation with Miss Corona will accompany us most-likely to the summer holidays. It would be silly if Interscope wants to postpone the release to a date when nothing's changed anyway. They should take the chance with the online rollout and turn the album campaign into an entirely virtual experience.
