Space vs Stock I kind of agree, I think they're listing the CD as "in stock" on their site because they ordered a certain amount that's currently available for pre-order, but it doesn't mean it's currently sitting in a backroom. Especially for such an anticipated product. Usually, stores start getting the physical copies a couple of days, or quite frequently the day before release date.
