It’s very likely that she’s saving more intense promo until nearer the album release to maximise impact. If we have to recognise that artists in general (pandemic or not) are not using traditional forms of media/promotional tactics anymore, we also need to recognise that audiences have much shorter attention spans. Why start with heavy promotion 4 weeks out when it’s just as effective 2 weeks out? We need to remember that we have no idea what they have planned. There could be lots of teasers, videos, interviews, photoshoots planned; I think we have to see how this week goes and if we get nothing at all then it’s time to be concerned.
