Joanne had a very old fashioned promo schedule, because of the people it was targeted to. Hence she went out and did TVs and performances in Q4. She also had amazon deal, she has a target deal now but obviously as we've discussed sales are down. But tbh there's no platforms in Q2 that would help her the same as the Joanne release did. It would make sense to have a streaming targeted campaign. She did the #ShotOnIphone MV which was a great move, but since then.. Nothing. And once the 1st week was over all that hype died and SL dropped like a rock. Perhaps they had to change or adapt a few things because of the situation right now. but if we’re lucky enough she must have shot other music video and few magazine covers and she can do phone interviews and Instagram content like @Stef said. At least with that era you could tell she was really passionate about the album, and here we are now 2.5 weeks out from release with nothing but a name and a single. I think it's a possibility that she might have booked a Eurovision performance too like Madonna last year but who knows. I would just rather have the album on April 10 than wait though. I'm sure she's passionate about the album, but we are in the middle of a global crisis right now and they are probably rearranging their entire schedule, with no idea of when things will return to normal. I don't get it The silence is obviously due to the change in her schedule due to coronavirus. Whether the album is delayed or not, that's not under Gaga's control.
