I think the main problem is that some people share an opinion, which is clearly an opinion, and it is taken as "This is a fact" because it isn't disclaimed with "In my opinion." Dua has already released 3 songs off Future Nostalgia, whereas Gaga has only Stupid Love out. It's more complicated to delay an album with 3 songs already out (and 1 more on the way).
