Weeknd, Dua & Gaga are the only major releases that have been announced. The only thing is upcoming albums like Katy, Adele, and Rihanna making their release dates further down the line but we wouldn’t know because they haven’t been announced yet. I don’t buy this. Yeah everyone isn’t realizing we have Ari fans and whatever other collabs that make it on the album invested in this album which will make SEA go up and increase overall album performance on the charts. It doesn't mean they will postpone the album at all. Plus anyone who is a buyer of CD's would have already ordered the album a long time ago. They can still go ahead with the release date. Digital downloads and streaming numbers are way bigger than CD sales these days anyways. With a strong online promotion campaign they can still go ahead with the April 10th release date. But they need to kick that promo into high gear ASAP. Everyone is at home on their phones, tablets and computers. To me now is a perfect time to hit hard with album promotion. People need escapism right now in their lives. I totally agree with you! I'm a CD buyer, have the album already on preorder. People are dealing with the corona virus. Most people are at home, an album release would be perfect! It would be a nice distraction! Stanlist: Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Fifth Harmony girls, unperfect, Grace VanderWaal, Rina Sawayama
Tiny Purse 1,145
Can we stop the stupid rumors about a delay? we're all stressed enough. Her IG bio still says April 10th. the paper magazine was JUST released in digital and says April 10th. everyone chill and get excited for the album. we have bigger things to worry about right now. This virus isn’t going away for at least 4 more months. Even if she delays this by a month or two, it’ll likely be the same situation. At least sticking to April would be a promise kept to her fans, and no one can blame someone for underperforming during a pandemic. It just is what it is. 2- If she delays, then she and the team are deeply concerned about the underperformance and would rather risk a delay in order to get better returns. A bling not the music sorta choice, and would inevitably kill more momentum in the rollout, as more artists will be releasing in the summer. The thing with physical sales is, she could put the album out digitally on April 10th then in 4-5 months (or whenever the virus f*cks off) put out the physical album and do promo, then she will have another rise in sales and make up for lost sales... Agreed! If they were debating about delaying the album they would have asked Paper Magazine not to write the release date in the article.
Mylo 508
If the electronic instrumentals of Chromatica can match only one fifth of this genius by twisting them with a more commercial sound, then we're up with Gags' best workpiece to date The 30:00 onward part is ELECTROHEAVEN Florence Belch is the goat-voiced, 80-years-old, lesbian aunt we all need

Gaga controls her creative direction but Interscope can refuse to sign off on releasing the album and will if it deems releasing imminently is the best business decision. Label execs are not creatives and generally only focus on the viability of releasing a product for the business. They look at the $£€, not fan happiness. As I said earlier though, I don't know why they would.
