Can't wait to find out the setlist Applause actually could really fit in with the Chromatica set list (from what I imagine the album sounding like) with the whole message being like “I love when my fans cheer for me” and the whole story about her fans really getting her through her dark times after her hip injury. It's weird, and it's not something I think many others outside of this community would understand, but when I hear Gaga speak like this, I feel a genuine, overwhelming feeling of love. And it's crazy because my rational brain says 'she's just a celebrity' but I know, to me, that she is and represents so much more than that. She represents my own survival, the survival of so many others around the world, joy, freedom and the reason and motivation to keep on fighting to be the best version of ourselves we can. She is such a powerful part of our lives, and I sometimes feel embarrassed by how strongly connected I feel, or like other people would judge it. But, you know, I don't care - she's such a great person and her music means so much to me. She makes me feel strong, even when I am at my weakest. And I know she does that for so many others, too. Ya’ll wanted Gaga to promote so bad 48 hours ago when I was saying it’s better she’s not traveling right now. Now you want her to postpone an album that you can listen to on your phone and can pre-order online if you want physical copies. She can still go into late night talk shows and shows like Ellen since there’s no studio audience/or call/FaceTime. And if she doesn’t, SHE DOESNT NEED TO. It won’t be like this in a month, canceling events is one thing, postponing an album when it can actually distract us and make us happy, the world will listen. You guys act like the world is sitting in silence not listening to music or watching TV, Netflix. People are literally in self-quarantine WITH SO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS. THINK ABOUT IT.
