A leak, not a release

We all want the album but we have to remember that if it drops in these days, in full covid19 emergency, the flop risk would be lurking...we just have to settle of a promo single and hope it doesn’t leak in full..it would be a disaster for her otherwise...

Same DNA but Born This Way

She should release the album May 15/22 digitally and delay the shipping of physical sales by a week. This will prevent a leak. No one will be buying them in store anyways. If she did this and actually communicated with us, explaining the unfortunate situation, instead of dropping **** a day after it leaks with nothing but a heart emoji, I think we would satisfied. This is the best we can get out of this.

We need to accept that we’re not getting a proper era. This pandemic is not ending by June. It will take 1-2 years for everything to recover fully, but we can’t wait that long. This album is on the verge of leaking.

Stores here are open again (under restrictions, but still). And I think within the next two/three weeks some countries will follow suit. So that shouldn't be the biggest problem during May/June, I think. But the inclination to buy stuff like music could stay low for quite some time with so many laid off their jobs/general recession? But yeah, she can't wait for it be over and from my observations (as part of my job) low prices entertainment stuff like board games and music are still extremely im demand right now.

Words really can't express how disappointed and sad I am about how this era is panning out.

Might sound dramatic, and I KNOW there is more to life right now than a Lady Gaga album, but I can't help but feel so robbed :bradley:

I feel it for Gaga, too, which is probably really weird and unnecessary, but I hate how this project has been snatched out of her hands in such a final way.

Gaga herself hasn't announced a SINGLE thing about this era. She hasn't been able to 'break' ONE piece of news about her first pop album in so long... oh, apart from its delay.

I mean, I know - again - this is probably overdramatic and unnecessary, but my enjoyment of Chromatica will always be capped now since Gaga herself hasn't really expressed much enthusiasm for it.

What I love about a Gaga project is how I KNOW what I'm listening to means something deep to the artist. I know, for every album she has released so far, she has absolutely lived and breathed that project in every way.

With Chromatica, although she might love the album and the art she has produced, she has not been able to create an era like she always has.

And I know she's been busy with COVID-19 support - but her actions around this era have been extremely, extremely detached. It's kind of unbelievable to me that Gaga would 'announce' news in the way she has.

I mean, it MUST be because of the leaks. I think they have affected her more than we realize. A lot of her own excitement has been stolen.

The way she doesn't seem to care about this album - or at least how it's released - is shocking, although understandable, too.

I guess my point is that It's really hard to feel excited for this album when everything that surrounds it is so depressing.

And I don't just mean COVID-19.

What's depressing is Gaga's detachment - and that's not solely because of lockdown. She could chat to us more, be more openly interested in the project, ect. The lack of all that, to me, renders Chromatica a 'non-event' - however desperate I am for new music.

PI has one of her best instrumentals. SL has a basic and annoying chipmunk voice.

true but PIss instrumental is completely drowned out by constant screaming and SL has got a great pre-chorus at least.

I feel it for Gaga, too, she should go ahead and announce everything instead of keeping it to herself until it leaks, are they being dumb?

Gaga herself hasn't announced a SINGLE thing about this era, but the postponement. She hasn't been able to 'break' ONE piece of news about her first pop album, even through Joanne was pop too, in so long...

I mean, I know - again - this is probably overdramatic and unnecessary and I live for it, but my enjoyment of Chromatica is nonexistent now that Gaga herself hasn't really expressed much enthusiasm for it, go girl give us nothing.

It's kind of unbelievable to me that Gaga would 'announce' news in the way she has, botga indeed.

It's obviously because of the leaks - I think they affect her more than some on here think, one would think they already figured out how to prevent them but yikes.

The way she doesn't seem to care about this album - or at least how it's released - is shocking, although understandable, too.

It's really hard to feel excited for this album when everything that surrounds it is so depressing, especially with Stupid Love as the lead

What's depressing is Gaga's detachment - and that's not solely because of lockdown. She could chat to us more, be more openly interested in the project, ect. The lack of all that, to me, renders Chromatica a 'non-event', tragic
