Musically they're pretty mediocre at what they do but gaga hasn't really provided anything lately that proves she's better than them. at least their sounds have the merit of being catchy, which is not really her case anymore for years. This era really heralds an artistic shipwreck (if the term is still appropriate) unless there is a major surprise. in spite of this crude tactic, i doubt that it will get the success she hopes for. she has a faithful and loyal fanbase but they're not very demanding and have such low standards. i'll still listen to the album out of curiosity. As a Chartster the handling of her music releases to line up with commercial success since ARTPOP has been pretty on point. She got those #1s through deals and pushes. Also SL rollout despite the leak was fantastic I think people put too much emphasis on Matthew Dada Williams, perhaps?
