I'm not gonna be surprised if this is true. Besides, I think she only gave us the cover because it leaked and it would've been more damaging if she DIDN'T post it. If she doesn't feel like it's "right" to release music right now, that's completely fine, I completely support that, but you can't also release a jazz song and not announce anything off of the album that you've already announced and expect it to be fine... I mean, why not release a promo single whose proceeds go to helping out with the WHO? I mean, don't get me wrong, I like her jazz stuff a lot, but why release a jazz song when you literally have 15+ other tracks you could release? Abd this jazz song rumor doesnt make sense, because there’s plenty rumors stating that she will restart chromatica era right after the event, releasing a SL remix + promo single 04/24. I guess a lot of this stems from me being a fan of her jazz work, but not a huge fan of it. If I really, really, really loved C2C, then I'd probably be more excited about the prospect of getting a new jazz song, but it's just not entirely my cup of tea. I agree with saying that she'll restart the era after this event, though. It only makes sense. She raised tens of millions of dollars and got multiple artists and celebrities to work on this event, there's just realistically nothing more she could do. I'm sure she's still going to help the cause, but I do think that her delaying the album was because she was working on this project specifically. In terms of the music itself, those were my favorite eras.
