She sat with Diane Warren who played a demo for Gaga and Gaga changed a few lines and the melody of it. Diane has a thing about writing with other artists, she doesn't like doing it. Perfect Illusion was not handed to her. The four of them worked on it together and Kevin recorded a demo to see what it was sound like. It wasn't Kevin's song, it was always Gaga's. I'm sure I remember Mark saying something like "Kevin had this idea for an Illusion and we got to work.
