In 2013 ARTPOP was being hyped all over the place just like Born This Way. High art. New apps to interact with the music. Sculptures. Crazy arty outfits on the street. Double album. Swine festival.

When she finally dropped that damn album that we were all ****ing tired of waiting, the general public didn't care and we had to hold the era on our own. Then Beyoncé dropped the visual album. Then she scrapped Venus because Do What You Want was being picked up by the general public. Meltdowns by Gaga on Twitter. By 2014 the eras was done and she released GUY to set the final tone for the era and finish that hot mess.

ARTPOP is not a bad album but her ideas were all over the place. She tried to do to much with the era and it backfired on her.

Then she released Cheek to Cheek to be GP's darling. Whatever, let her have it. It will be good for her.

Then she starts hyping a new pop album again just to shelve it.

Then she drops this "personal" album full of countryish songs. Whatever, let her have it, Million Reasons made her GP darling for real this time. She's 30, time for a grown image.

Then she drops A Star Is Born. Whatever, let her have it, maybe it will be a hit, maybe there's pop songs in there we can use. It was a huge success. Whitney's Bodyguard success and legendary.

I enjoyed her last two albums. But finally she's hinting a full pop album for us homosexuals bop to. It was our time. She had everything she wanted and now it was our time to be fully happy again.

Then she postpones Chromatica after a release date, single and concept.

Chromatica's era, or rather lack thereof, was out of her control though. Sure, you can say, "she can just release the album digitally", but it's clear that she wanted this era to be more than just the album. She wanted to make it an event, much like BTW. She had multiple big performances planned, huge collabs (I mean, they'll still happen, it's just that they could've been released earlier), supposedly a "mini movie", multiple music videos, etc. Just look at the few photoshoots we've gotten. They're some of her best in years, and those were just a tiny taste of what she wanted to do!

I get that you're upset and angry. We all are. We'd all be bopping out to Chromatica right now, but the album and the era is still coming. As much as we don't like to, we just have to wait a little bit longer. We've waited this long, we can wait a couple of more months. Besides, at least we have an album to look forward to  We're beyond the days of constantly waiting and anticipating a new album. At least we have a lead single, a concept, cover art, etc.

I'm happy you are feeling better. However If I may suggest it I think you should channel your energy in something a bit more positive for you, maybe even investing time in listening to your supposed 'new fave'. Gaga will be back and maybe you will get the era you have long been waiting for. If you cannot wait, take a break.

Well, it's ok for you not being a fan of Gaga anymore (or her being your main fave). There's plenty of other artists to look up for.

Just don't be obsessed with someone. It's OK for an artist to do some mistakes in his career, no one is perfect.

I do believe Gaga did a very good decision to postpone Chromatica. We will have it by summer. During the meantime, we should enjoy other music/new artists/be safe & stay at home.

She already scrapped what sounds like an entire album before creating another full album and putting out Joanne, ARTPOP was mismanaged and didn't go the way she wanted AT ALL, even Born This Way apparently finished early when MTN flopped 

She's been working on Chromatica for years. If she wants to postpone it to do the era properly and not just randomly put the album on Spotify, then she can. She deserves to do it the way she wants especially as none of the other last few solo albums have had a smooth release.

It's postponed, by a couple of months, not scrapped.

There's no deception here. The only thing that's happening is you overreacting.

I think you are just trying to get the approval of your feelings and "facts" to feel better and less alone. It's understandable when someone is disappointed.
