She took this time to work on whatever she needs to work on for COVID-19, and while I’m sure she’s still going to help out in some fashion in the future, the reason why she delayed her album was because she was helping to set up this concert event and raising $90 MILLION for the relief effort. I mean, what more can she realistically do? I feel like after the concert on April 18 she’ll go back to trying to promote Chromatica. I think postponing the album was a bad idea, i think it would have been better to just release it, and then do promo later in the year. That way it might have more longevity and a chance at more music videos, instead of a short era. Also, so many people were looking forward to Chromatica, this is such a worrying and stressful time, it just would have been nice to have the escapism.
