And listen, people do have the right to be upset, but everytime I see this particular argument, I immediately go to the work she's done and that, if anything, seems much more impactful than releasing an album. I also used to be one of those people who made that exact same argument, and before she revealed that she raised $45mm and helped create the WHO/Global Citizen concert, I still might've made that same argument as well, but her doing actual tangible work that will productively help those in need is far more important right now.
