I think her label didn't believe in ARTPOP as much as she did. ARTPOP was a label's nightmare. She had a huge era with BTW and TFM and then she wanted to go and make this more daring experimental (I use the term lightly) concept album that was for the fans over the GP. That's not great for sales right off the bat. They never were fully on board with ARTPOP and when things went south they left her to pick up the pieces. But she could easily say in 5 seconds in that Jimmy interview how she's getting back to her music after the 4/18 show. Or even in an Instagram post. Just take a picture of her listening to music or something with a caption saying she can't wait to get back to her Chromatica project. Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.
