I think it's partly from the labels side because right now the pandemic is the worst in Europe and USA. Predictions say the peak will be reached this or next week in some parts of the US. If the insider is right about a release in June I can imagine things look slightly better around that time then they are looking this week to release the album. Of course the virus is not gone however I think it is better manageable to do a lucrative album rollout then. However I definitely can imagine it is also partly because of Gaga. She definitely isn't in the mood to start an album rollout right now and since we know she is an philanthropist we know where her mind is in difficult times like this charity is more important to her. We have to remember when our girl was nowhere to be seen from time to time during the Joanne era because of the elections. At this time she was also more focused on politics and put the music era on hold (for a few weeks) so that shouldn't be surprising that she is doing it right now. Her priorities have definitely changed since 2013 (probably due to the ARTPOP backlash). Side-projects moved more to the main focus and her pop career isn't the main project anymore. My fan experience has always been about the music first- for over 10 years. In fact her musical ability is what has always separated her from the other artists. Lyrically, she has pulled me through some tough times. I came out in 2007 while living in a small southern Tennessee town; before it was even somewhat acceptable. Her songs and what she was saying pulled me through the painful journey of trying to find myself when no one wanted me to be who I said I was- family included. Promo and music videos didn’t pull me through those times, and it wouldn’t now but the music certainly did and would. Things are dark, they’re scary, and I can’t tell you where I’m finding hope in anything right now. My job is gone indefinitely, my unemployment claim is still in limbo after it took nearly 2 weeks to get any type of confirmation that my claim was even received, and I’m living with my mom and stepdad who are alcoholics which is amplifying my anxiety and depression. I am beyond disappointed that the album was postponed because I need to hear what she has to say as a musician and not as a philanthropist. Yes, the world is fortunate to have people that can script a TV donation from Apple to show on Jimmy Fallon for 10 million dollars, but what makes Gaga incomparable is her ability to connect musically. I just really needed that today. Thank you. Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

She had the dive bar tour. The Super Bowl was a huge promo opportunity basically. Like I have to laugh... So if I get what you mean by promo is every time she is doing her job? And again, nobody remembers the Joanne Promo and even I can remember of one or two things it is nothing compared of what we had back in the days. A lot of people who were pro-postponing have a little too high expectations of exactly how much she’s physically going to be able to do in just 2-3 months. I’m hoping for several radio interviews (Howard, Zack, Zane, Elvis) and some virtual appearances to Kelly Clarkson and GMA and one of the late night talk shows. I’m hoping they have enough BTS footage from recording Chromatica where they can whip together some Gagavisions too. Also if the Apple partnership continues I’m hoping they can do an Apple Music commercial that promotes Chromatica. Then you have the Ari single & video and I think that’s all enough for pre-release. Then in late summer hopefully she can start doing live performances.

To a point it does, might not be everyone but it WILL get someones interest piqued, and possibly turn them into a fan or follow her for more of her stuff, plus with the amount of people using NYC subways it was bound to turn some into fellow monsters. But again this was also when she was over saturated, so yeah I do think there is a fine balance.
