OneRepublic postponed the album but took a different approach from Gaga: "Before the pandemic, we planned to release our album on May 8th. Due to the current circumstances requiring us to distance ourselves from each other and you, the release has been postponed. As many of you know we’ve been taking this unexpected time out to write and record some new music. Our new song “Better Days,” written while we were quarantined after returning from our European tour, will be on the album. Thank you all for sharing your lives with us for the official music video. It was only an argument before she announced it tbh. I can only say I do believe that delaying was for the best and hopefully we are now gonna get interviews and performances, mvs, fully realised era. Rather than just an album dropping on spotify and that's that. I just hope the April 10sters think it is worth the wait. And Charli is making a whole album around the virus, she just released the lead to her album that comes next month which she made in days with the help of fans An icon. I love her take on this whole thing. She thinks as a performer it’s her job to distract the public and give them reasons to enjoy quarantine. So she’s making a whole album online asking fans to help her with lyrics, getting people to edit her photos, recording videos at home. PC icon.
