Anywho, Craig, how are you today? Well I mean, aren't we all frustrated? I mean, I literally had a meltdown when it got delayed because its my 22nd Birthday in lockdown and I would have LOVED to have Chromatica to put on and dance to. Its such ashame what is happening to the world right now, and I am so greatful to be here. I accept it for what it is, I'm still bummed about it but I accept it. All the trolling, all the "fake leaks", all the insiders... its so tiring and draining. Especially when having the album would put an end to all of that. So I think EVERYONE is frustrated with things. But theres a difference between accepting reality and being annoyed and not accepting reality. I wouldn't mind a charity single with proceeds going to WHO thats not related to Chromatica at all and would give people something to chew on while being there for a good cause. I'm doing good so far! Its almost 3am and had quite a few Birthday messages on Twitter so thats been nice!! Thanks for asking How are you? The album WILL be coming before the tour is scheduled to start and then after the first week sales are counted (the first week sales that include the ticket bundle sales) they’ll announce the postponement or cancellation of the tour. If they announce now it’s postponed/ cancelled before album release that’s around 50k pre-orders of the album with the ticket bundle that could potentially be cancelled. Helping raise 45 million will probably mitigate some of that criticism. It’s not like any of her interviews thus far mentioned “we know you had an album coming out and you delayed it for this concert.” That would be taking advantage of the situation. She still has fans. And Camila and Alisha Keys also did promo during the Iheart radio benefit concert, so she wouldnt be the first. Its still a benefit concert. It raised funds in the lead up to the the event, and is going to provide some time to relax and just enjoy things for a couple hours. The money raised before hand will do benefit to the WHO and hopefully will give extra funding for research into a cure. The concert itself will provide a benefit to the millions of people round the world in the sense that they have something positive to look forward to that everyone can enjoy, something that they can we with their families and just feel some positivity in life for a few hours, and hopefully it will help improve people's mental health. It is not the right time, we know that Gaga is one of the sweetest people in the world and cares for the world, she just donated 45 million in this period, showing all the affection and concern over this whole pandemic, seriously that are you still complaining? Please! The album is reportedly coming in less than two months, and I think we can wait, as the day will come soon. It's her decision, and we have to respect that. I've been sitting here waiting for dance pop avant garde Gaga since ARTPOP, and then we finally get a taste of it, and this happens. I understand the thirst for new music, truly I do. But I also personally think all the leaks and teasing and insiders...people do that to themselves. The second people stop constantly freaking out over THE MOST OBVIOUSLY FAKE **** ON TWITTER AND ATRL, not only will they live much happier lives, but waiting for the album would be much smoother. I empathize with wanting the album. But I don't empathize with people acting like the world is coming to an end because they don't have a new Lady Gaga album 🙄. People constantly throwing around justifications for their immature behavior such as "some people don't have anything! Chromatica was all they had!". Not having anything means not having water or food, a home, money, family or friends, clothes on your back, health, etc. If you got money to buy a fcking album, you aren't at the bottom of the barrel so quit bitching. My grandfather passed away last week, a week after my birthday, and not only did I not see anyone on my birthday, but I didn't get to even see him before he died because of the coronavirus restrictions. But I'm not about to sit there and pretend that Chromatica was going to solve the problem. She's doing something which is undeniably better for the world, and yes, we can be upset that we aren't sitting there bopping to Rain On Me, but LG6 pales in comparison to everything else. She couldn't follow through on the original promotional plan and it's kind of wrong to release now anyway so she postponed it, got involved with WHO, then leaked her album forcing her to have to release it anyway on its original date but with the added benefit of all this good will.
