The person got an email saying it was shipped, they had forgotten that they had ordered it so they're waiting to see if something arrives, if i'm correct. It could be an automated message that was programmed to send on a certain date, it could also very possibly be the album

to some users above: I have ordered a vinyl a month ago and they printed a label on 3rd. How they could have a track number a month ago

To all the naysayers saying there's no way the physical album wasn't pressed or made etc, the big thing we have to remember is that this isn't like a normal scrapping of plans or a change of heart.

The Corona Virus spread so fast it caused an immediate stop on all plans. There was no preplanning to be done, no decision making or strategy to be made before the announcement on the 24th March, two weeks before release day!  

To assume Gaga's team had nothing done is unrealistic. Until the day before the announcement, it was business as usual for her and her team, and her label. Its unrealistic to think that hundreds of thousands, if not millions of copies were made to be transported to stores in the USA/Canada, AND to be shipped internationally to millions of stores, brands etc, which would go through international customs checks.

There needs to be logistics; if you ever worked in retail, you would know that new stock comes in and has to be processed before it goes onto the floor, which is usually a week or two before it can be sold. To use Britney Spears as an example, her Circus album was in stores in the last two week of November, despite a 2nd December release date. Her Glory album leaked because a store put it out for sale the week before....

...and then we have to think about how many stores worldwide wide would have to be contact and told DO NOT SELL! 

To assume Gaga knew exactly what would happen with this virus and her promotional plans is to overestimate her; No-one could have expected the Virus would shut down the world within a week. She has a head for business but until she or her label made that call, it was business as usual. 

It doesn't matter if it takes 3 days or three months to press a vinyl, there is a 99% chance it is made, and unless that response is automatic, someone minimum wage worker trying to pay the bills (not being shady, but lets be real!) isn't going to care enough that someone we idolize has postponed their album and NOT do their job.
