First of all, to say “leaked by people in her team” is ignorant. The only thing that her team “leaked” is the album cover (AFTER a third party already posted it) and the Free Woman stuff on her website. Sure, one leaked thing from her team is more than enough, so having two things from her team isn’t great, but the SL leak, the Babylon snippet, the ROM snippet, the SL music video stills, the track list, the album cover, etc. were out of her control.

Speaking of, Target releasing the track list early and a third party releasing the album cover early is entirely on those third parties and not on Gaga. I swear, it seems like some of you guys think she runs Target or something  How the **** was she supposed to know that her track list was going to prematurely leak on their website??

So yeah, her fans shouldn’t be disappointed. At least we’re getting something. Would y’all rather go back to when we didn’t even know what the lead single was?

I would actually. It was more exciting. Point is leaks aren’t new to anyone and it will always be a thing as long as the internet exists. You’re assuming that it was her fan who leaked her music without any concrete proof. Seems kinda absurd considering nothing was confirmed when SL began leaking. And unless her fans are standing in the recording studio with their cellphones inside her mouth then I can’t see how they’d get access to her material that early in production. 
 

No one thinks she’s target, THAT’S being ignorant. The point is, even though her material leaks, and not by fans, they’re still willing to buy albums and whatever bundles/merch she decided to release along with it so I think it’s reasonable for people to be disappointed by her not seeming enthusiastic when they support the f*ck out of everything she does.

If SL wasn't that bad I would agree with you, but it was her comeback, it deserved something better. Stupid Love shouldn't even exist. What was she thinking? It doesn't even sound like the rest of the album in a worse way than Perfect Illusion (I love PI btw).

I don't really know which song of the leaks you consider to be the best off the album, but any snippet sounds better than SL and all of them are at the same level of greatness.

I’ll be shocked and happy if they are different to the bonus tracks from the Target edition considering amazon Italy claims track 19 is also SL.

The Joanne leak, I understand, but when you state publicly that someone "hacked" into your computer and picked "their favorite song", and then you proceed to play multiple songs to a room full of people you've never met before (well before the album launch), etc etc. ...I mean, I'm not someone who works in the industry, but that seems rather careless? 12 years into her career as one of the biggest stars in the world and computers are just left out, or have barely any security measures? 

This isn't shade to her as a person, but with these amount of leaks...it's either intentional, or she just can't be bothered with keeping things secured. Reminds me of when DJWS got all pissed off because someone stole his harddrives and DJ equipment, while he was out at a bar or club or something.

But who knows. I'm convinced she's doing this all on purpose, using leaks and her fanbase as a way to promote the album. 

 

Gaga has made it clear numerous times that she doesn’t like leaks, so quite frankly I think that the notion that she’s doing this on purpose is ridiculous. Not saying anything against you personally, but I’ve seen many people make that argument ever since SL leaked, and I just don’t think it’s true.

As for how her security is regarding her music, admittedly yes, it’s honestly quite fascinating just how much of this era has leaked. Practically nothing has been released by Gaga herself. However, I think the reason why that is is because she worked with a lot more people this era than in previous eras. We already know she’s worked on Chromatica with literally dozens of producers, which is much more than she’s used to. I’m not saying that any one of those producers leaked stuff, but with so many people working on it, maybe they showed it to a friend or something like that and it just spread from there. She said herself that these songs were passed around so many times, and quite frankly if that’s true, all this leakage kinda makes sense.

That said, leaking her stuff is wrong, plain and simple. Now, am I gonna pretend that if something leaks, I won’t listen to it? No. I listened to ROM, Babylon, and SL. That said, on principle, I don’t think things should be leaking in the first place, and I think to criticize her for not being enthusiastic about people literally stealing her work is foolish. Could Gaga’s team be more secure? Sure, but let’s also remember that stuff like the track list leak and the album cover leak had nothing to do with her team, but with third parties.

Looking at todays radio update, Stupid Love has totally been pulled off the format. It lost over 100 spins and nearly 1m audience 

We are getting something to push the album in the next two weeks. I say that with confidence because I think her team can't possibly take the lead off radio and leave it like that until end of May but then I wouldn't be surprised if not
