I’m just assuming that the over sensible society might be triggered by this and leading Interscope to make safe decisions. You guys don’t remember the talk we had for earthquake back in the days and the theories we had of why the the song got scrapped as it was and That’s why i wrote “allegedly”. dean 326 Posted April 14, 2020 Share Posted April 14, 2020 I feel like what Donnie is saying about ROM etc is obviously correct but I also feel like they need a new song (possible second single, making ROM the third) like... soon if they are restarting the era shortly after WHO benefit. SL can’t carry the album until mid-end of May until the release of a promo single. SL is pretty much done. The original plan was to only have two official singles out before the album but I think that’s gonna have to change to three. Given that she’s already apparently filmed a few music videos, it should be somewhat easy to use one of those for the second single before ROM becomes the third. Imo Babylon is the perfect choice for a lead single. It’s campy, vogue and catchy for GP to bop. No, the “battle for your life” part wouldn’t be ridiculed. Her vocals shine and those powerful piano chords with the vocal effect on the final chorus by far one of her strongest musical moments. It absolutely should have been the version on the album. I always thought it was "dance for your life" instead of "Battle"? I think this is going to be a really special album amongst monsters, she may not get the recognition she so rightfully deserves from the GP anymore.. it's like having something so special sharing it with a fandom & only you and them know how incredibly blessed we are to have a full body of work on the way!
