Where did I say that? Did I say that at all? I don’t think it would be a good idea to use it as an opportunity to promo a new song, but the media wouldn’t look into it like stans would. Don’t put words in my mouth.

There's always people that are going to say that, regardless if she chooses to sing a new song, stupid love, a cover, or an old record. There's a ton of other artists who is going to perform as well, I don't see why would they be concern with bad press when they are doing a charity event and is going to be broadcasted massively, for free. So this whole event itself is a huge promotion of their image hooked to the coronavirus relief, bad promo is still good promo and I think raising millions and getting streamed in so many platforms is something that's well planned, this will hopefully open the doors to gaga from the public, and boost her filantropic efforts and her music, I can feel Chromatica cooming...

As I said, in my opinion, the mainstream media such as NYT, Time etc wouldn’t look into it or care as much as it’s too pop music, stan twitter centric, especially as she is the ‘media darling’ again. The two gay interns at Buzzfeed would write about it and it would be forgotten in a week. Let’s not get my words twisted again.

Didn’t Camilla Cabello perform a new song at Elton John’s event? I didn’t see anyone complaining then, that she used a charity event for a promo spot, other than little complainers. They are musicians and there’s nothing wrong with singing your songs. She can’t sing million reasons for ever, when she has new material.

Camilla doesn't have an album just around the corner. That's the key difference.

Thought of the day.... maybe Gaga’s silence has to do with the fact that because they may not be a LIVE performance she is rehearsing and recording and editing her performance for Saturday? As well as creating the narrative behind it etc. I mean judging off the iHeart Radio at home concert, those were all prerecorded performances and edited together. So they may be doing the same thing for Saturday.....
