From a journalistic perspective, there is no news value in “Lady Gaga performed a new song on an event, that she organized and raised millions for good cause, but she’s selfish for doing that". Everybody’s focusing on the good cause and everything she’s done so far to help. But i feel like she herself wouldn’t feel good or comfortable performing a new song. She wants the full focus on Covid-19, not herself and i feel like she will feed us, when the event is done and focus on Chromatica. But i feel like it’s safer to not promote a new song there, to avoid any kind of negative press because some news outlets can be destructive for no reasons.
