If you’re going by your HMV receipt that Chromatica was in stock, back then someone posted that HMV also showed Sam’s album was in stock when it was going to be released months later. Blade and Speakerphone have both said they the album not being printed yet was one of the deciding factors in delaying it, and that if it were printed they would have probably released it. Dua’s album leaked two weeks in advance due to human error. Can you imagine retailers having a Lady Gaga album in stock that has been delayed indefinitely?
