The album is coming April 10th (surprise), but physicals have been pushed back due to supply disruption.

I was reliably told this, but it's confirmed by the simple fact that Gaga hasn't revealed the album cover yet.

There is no way she, or Interscope, would let factory workers see the album cover before it has been revealed to the public. The cover would leak immediately if it was on production lines.

So, the virus + supply chain issues + no album cover reveal = no physicals are being printed.

It's also been reported that promo has been cancelled. I heard from someone I chat to on another forum that a fan performance has been cancelled. They are, apparently, looking into a live stream alternative, without an audience but it seems unlikely.

Maybe she'll do an Instagram live session from her home. But anything of 'budget' is unlikely.

The album is coming the 10th, but with minimal promo (aside from ROM MV) and no physical sales.

Obviously, the Chromatica Ball has also been postponed. I don't know if this has been widely reported yet, but it is totally inevitable - and that's not because of social distancing measures, it's because of how disrupted the supply chain has been / will be.

By July, it's likely the show could go on. But a lot comes before then that cannot be facilitated.

I'm saddened by it all massively. Chromatica era really has been tainted. This era is going to be anything but full. And that's no one fault, of course.

Let's just hope the music - and the music alone - lifts us.

Exactly what I've been saying :vegas:

they haven't confirmed anything because there is nothing to confirm yet. Mr. S, Blade and Speakerphone had all said the delay is currently being considered right now as we speak, and Blade added that we will find out by the end of the week. If you don't choose to believe them that's on you I guess. You can make fun of them all you want, but they are extremely reliable and are the ones that gave us the tea that helped keep us all going

and Mr. S was trolling the base to get back at them after everyone busted his balls, as there is a song called Stupid Love produced by RedOne. This was discussed extensively already

so yeah

Then stop saying that “people won’t believe what they don’t wanna hear.” Your comment made no sense. If they CONFIRMED a delay and people still didn’t believe it, fine, that’s on them. But this obsession with strangers on the internet who know information is just bizarre, confusing, and frankly annoying. Even if they’ve been right before. It’s a Gaga FORUM, if people want to speculate outside of “Blade” or knife or spoon or whatever other weird alias they have then let them. Jesus.

At this point I think they should give us the record as it is, and focus on another album or re-release later this year with the actual promo plan... That's the best solution tho... Something like Sweetener and Thank You, Next by Ari... That would be win-win situation...

That'd be really unfortunate if they couldn't do a live stream performance. I'd be happy with her doing IG live sessions, though. That's something a lot of people have been suggesting.

Honestly though, I'm fine with the minimal promo. I think if she does regular IG live sessions and hopefully some other stuff here and there, that'll be enough. Look, would I rather have promo for this album lined up everywhere? Absolutely. Anyone would. However, the reality of the situation is that that's just not going to happen. We have to make do with what we have.

Honestly though, I just want to hear her speak about the creative process. I mean, her Zane Lowe interview was just all audio, but I still really loved it. I've listened to it like 6 times just cause I love hearing her speak about the creative process

Maybe she could also do something similar to this, except for Chromatica:

as if the FORUM isn't packed with pages and threads trying to discredit the information (well, some aren't anymore), which to me is as incredibly annoying as my "obsession" is to you. but cute that you have to call me obsessed.

speculate all you want, but there is a clear difference between speculating and discrediting, dragging or mocking these people just because you don't agree with what they're saying, which is what has been happening a lot

Well, shall we move on from the postponed release topic? We've been discussing and discussing basically any possibility about it: the only thing we can do now is waiting for an announcement (or the announcement of the announcement :selena:) by Gaga, and her team unfortunately

If anything, can we discuss about the fact we could get bangers like this one on the album? :lolly:

I don't think she's going to focus on another album that quickly, though. Gaga's not that kind of artist. She's just not going to pump out albums for the sake of it. She could  re-release it, but I think that'll just be kinda weird. IDK, like if she's going to re-release it with all the promo, she might as well just postpone it at that point.

So is BLACKPINK collab on it? That’s the only thing I seem to care about this era.

Imagine if she does “Radio Gaga” where every Thursday night she broadcasts a show where she talks about the album process, her life, and drops a new song. So this Thursday she debuts Babylon, next Thursday Rain On Me, and then the album. On the album night she could do a track by track commentary after the show like a late-late show lol.

I wish we could all get along like we used to when Stupid Love leaked

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.
