They mostly care about charts, and giving The Weeknd as an example is just helping their argument because Gaga is not a streaming force like him, she relies a lot on physical sales! THAT being said idc about all that she could do 10 units in the whole world for all I care, I just want something to shake my *ss to in these depressing days besides when everything hopefully goes back to normal, she can keep promoting the album (longevity >>>>> amazing debut then ⬇️) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The label would rather get money from streams and the physicals that can be shipped to the houses for the time being. I really don’t see any logical reason to postpone an album that’s 19 days away. Some could be thinking of a postponed release 'cos they're chart-obsessed, yes, but I kinda disagree with this statement: many fans just like to physically own the work of their fave on day one, and this absurd situation will prevent this habit from becoming reality.
