Gaga HATES leaks, and we all know it seeing how pissed off she was in GAGA:5F2. I'm sure Gaga would always, always prefer her album be released through an official album rollout vs. being leaked so disrespectfully on Twitter or WeChat because she simply had to postpone the album 3-8 weeks. Will it sell less than it should, and could have done if the physical versions were counted? Of course. New Romantics 325 Posted March 21, 2020 Share Posted March 21, 2020 I know some of you want the album as soon as possible and it would be nice if she gives us something to keep us busy and entertained during this chaos, but also we have to keep in mind that this decision is really out of her hands. This is business after all and UMG doesn’t wanna risk having one of their biggest artists release during a pandemic without physicals, aka her biggest strength, or without doing any sort of promo. Whatever decision they make, I’m sure it will be the right thing cause they know better/more than we do. As for the leak, I’m thinking (hoping) it will be fine as long as they don’t take ages to release it or push it to Q4. A 3-8 weeks postponement (as mentioned) would be totally fine.
