You want CrazyGa, she goes crazy = she's trying too hard 🤢 You ask for JoanneGa, she goes that way = ew, BorinGa 🤢 And you never give logical explanations to your points, it's like you just hate for the thrill of hating and arguing on a forum. You don't have to like everything she does, but if you will complain about every move she takes, then you should maybe consider trying to find another artist to stan in the meantime... PG. Will you complain about the same issue over and over again? Do you want the world to see how much you dislike something? I'm not one of the people complaining, but I do think that people here should be allowed to complain, no matter how unsubstantial someone may find it without people coming for them for sharing an opinion... on a forum, which is what forums are for. But speaking to what you say, I think there are a group of people who expect something of her, and a group of other people who expect and want something else. The groups probably only overlap by a small number of people. The people who want bangers aren't going to complain when there's a banger. The people who want deep lyrics aren't going to complain when there's a deep song out. But I don't think it's entirely out of the question for people to want deep lyrical content and something to dance to. After she put out The Fame Monster, she sort of solidified her spot as someone who can provide quality lyrics that can be analyzed and dissected in addition to something that can be played in the club and danced to. I actually liked the Babylon leak but I think you're not realizing that Gaga used to be so brilliant in making clever lyrics and often with a thought-provoking idea/concept in a fun pop song. That was imo her speciality. It was never either this or that. And I can get why a lot of fans feel like SL doesn't meet Gaga's standards. Just because you want to see everyone being happy and satisfied with Gaga's work all the time doesn't mean it's wrong for other fans to express their opinions. People just want to have another good experience from Gaga's work and if they don't get that- that's fine and it's their right to be disappointed and express it also. Also just because Gaga had some iconic lead singles, it doesn't mean she'll have to outsell herself every time, maybe she's saving the best for later (see Joanne songs) Or maybe she isn't the one who has the final word, let's not forget it is Interscope who makes the decisions, or did you forget about the whole ARTPOP singles issues? I mean if we're going by that logic then Bad Romance and Born This Way were also lead singles and they were more interesting visually and musically at the time And most importantly, just better songs. I do too have high hopes for the album! But everybody should be allowed to express their opinions as long as it's in a respectful way. As I said, I highly doubt anyone here would invest their time here to simply complain. You just need to be open for other people's opinions even when it's hard when you're in a minority.
