The lead single leaks, and she waits a full month before saying “f*ck it” and releasing it, so the only thing we got from it was the music video. Then she announces the album 3 days later (which yes, I was freaking out about and was the first time I was genuinely excited). But then... pretty much nothing. And I keep hearing defense from people saying “oh but she did the paper interview!” Yes, and how much concrete info did we get from that? Not much. Not even one song title, just a description of ROM, which we’d already gotten from other people. Look, I’d like to say I’m sorry for being what you guys consider to be “negative”, bc I know what it’s like to be around negativity, but I don’t see this as negativity. I see it as being honest about someone I love and respect. Similarly to how parents shouldn’t lie to their kids about how good they are at things, I don’t think stans should lie about their fave. Of course this could all change if she announces something later today, but I really don’t think that’s going to happen. But can you guys please try to keep in mind these are just my feelings? I’m not asking any of you to feel the same. So why are you getting so bothered about this? I think I’m starting to understand how God Control felt yesterday. A MV that several other people here besides myself have called lackluster? I don’t even think that, I’m just saying that it wasn’t as iconic as most of us wanted it to be. And I just explained why the magazine defense needs to stop. We’ve gotten next to no concrete facts about this album. Sorry if that offends you but it’s true. But the wait would be less painful if she could release like 2-3 songs until the new date. This would be very nice and actually could make the anticipation really cool. The only thing that is bothering me this era is the lack of content/information. Wish we could have more moments like the paper magazine photoshot. Yup, this is exactly how I felt about God Control yesterday. They were making several long-ass comments about why they think Gaga’s quality has gone down since TFM. Yet when I acted the same way you acted, I was also somehow in the wrong for that as well. No matter what side I’m on, you guys are against me. We stan hypocrisy, I guess.
