That doesn't really sound like a 'monster of a dance tune' tho, does it?

Ye I read somewhere that a person who heard a snippet of it said it was this, but it doesn't seem to fit the description of a "monster of a dance tune" or  a "flawless dance floor crier" because it's tempo isn't that of a dance track. A dance tempo is usually from 120bmp to 135bpm, and this is about 90bpm. Unless they sampled a piece of the song and slowed it down. We'll have to wait and see i guess.

I'm fine, Ta

It doesn't, no.

But who knows... it could pick up in the chorus.

It's probably fake, but thought I'd share since it's gaining some traction.

Even if the album gets pushed back we need the album cover, tracklist and a promo single

I'd imagine there's already a second single and video filmed and ready to go. I'd trust Gaga and her team to have planned this out well in advance at this point.

I'm not sure why the album would get pushed back when most revenue comes from Digital Downloads and Streaming these days - and folks who are self-isolating will probably have nothing to do BUT stream and download.

The only source that's actually heard the song describes it as a massive dance tune....

Physical CD's that were already preordered will count as sales even thou theres a delay in shipping. It doesn't mean they will postpone the album at all. Plus anyone who is a buyer of CD's would have already ordered the album a long time ago. They can still go ahead with the release date. Digital downloads and streaming numbers are way bigger than CD sales these days anyways. With a strong online promotion campaign they can still go ahead with the April 10th release date. But they need to kick that promo into high gear ASAP. Everyone is at home on their phones, tablets and computers. To me now is a perfect time to hit hard with album promotion. People need escapism right now in their lives.

Aga Gydal

We know how this is gonna go:

1- If she releases Chromatica as planned, it’ll be because her priority is to get this to her fans. This virus isn’t going away for at least 4 more months. Even if she delays this by a month or two, it’ll likely be the same situation. At least sticking to April would be a promise kept to her fans, and no one can blame someone for underperforming during a pandemic. It just is what it is.

2- If she delays, then she and the team are deeply concerned about the underperformance and would rather risk a delay in order to get better returns. A bling not the music sorta choice, and would inevitably kill more momentum in the rollout, as more artists will be releasing in the summer.

Could the song have two different tempos as many songs do? Or perhaps, if this is around 90 bpm, there could be a heavy beat or drum around 180 bpm over the chorus, etc

PG.

"I haven’t heard about Gaga’s album yet, but I know at least a couple major label releases in the next 6 weeks that this forum is excited about are getting shifted to summer. Either due to overreliance on physical sales or tied to live events/announcements.

I hope Gaga comes through for the gays but I wouldn’t be surprised if this moves too." - Speakerphone on Popjustice

They can somewhat compensate for lack of physical sales in the first week by releasing the music video for the Ariana single on April 10, those streaming views will count towards the album chart.

A delay for May doesn't make any sense since this situation can be even worse. If she'd had to delay it, it should be for around June, and that's not happening unless her record label is retarded :awkney:
