Smh What we're trying to point out is that it's a personal smear, not an actual argument. If this was based on the merit of an argument, these establishment people would be condemning Obama for saying the same thing as well, but they conveniently ignore it -- because it's not about the argument at all! His point was that Cuba has the best education record in Latin America, and universal health care, too. He was criticizing the black and white way in which foreign affairs is sold by Washington to the public. Either you can be good or bad—and this notion is dangerous and fundamentally incorrect; and is one of the main reasons the Middle East is in turmoil today (e.g. 1940s Iran coup to remove a democratically elected Prime Minister and replace him with a monarch). This was not a statement applauding communism (as the media spins it), but rather a statement condemning the way foreign affairs are sold to the public in the US. MOVE TO CUBA AND TELL ME IF UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE IS A THING, JESUS THERE IS NO SUCH THING ITS HARD TO GET MEDICINES IN CUBA U HAVE NO IDEA STOP BEING A ****ING CHAMPAGNE SOCIALIST Rock On and A Last One For the Road 🚬

Lion Heart 15,041
Literally Obama said something similar. Why is it only a problem for HIM to say it but not Obama? Also where was this feigned outrage back then? It's all a faux outrage perpetrated by anti-Berners and #NeverBerners. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
Eighteen 5,430
i hope bernie will be able to pull people under his umbrella in the general election. this stuff does not help him regardless if he's right. the american people don't understand nuance and the left that hates blanket statements in fact revel in it (like here on the view) when it aligns with their own perspective. hypocritical
