Given her age, that wouldn’t take much

Battle 4 Ur Life

how can she say that doing what she does? like, does she not watch her own show where she's the protagonist?

:oprah:

most of the disputes on that program are rooted in deep ignorance and even poverty sometimes. the US is one of the most unequal countries in the world. apparently she is blind to it.

the indifference coming from her is astounding but not surprising given her...*cough* profile

”Why’d ya come around me with an ass like that?”

Can’t be that different when the core philosophy of democratic socialism is anti-capitalist. I mean I’ve lost count at how many times these self proclaimed “democratic socialists” have blamed capitalism as the main social ill. The point of democratic socialism is to eventually transition a country into a full blown socialist regime. The Democratic Socialists of America even mention the desire to transition to the United States on their site....they’re not at all different —/

Capitalism IS the cause of a lot of issues in our country. It keeps poor people poor & rich people rich. Capitalism is inherently exploitative, it’s unsustainable, it creates economic inequality, it’s anti-democratic & leads to an erosion of human rights & incentivizes imperialist expansion and war.

Also, you’re cherry picking again & basing your argument off of one misinformed opinion. Wanting a socialist country doesn’t equate to being communist. Like, how does your logic even work? Democratic socialism is not communism & simply wanting a socialist country doesn’t turn it into communism (as badly as you’re trying to make it look that way). Seriously, go look up the differences between the two. Educate yourself, otherwise I’m done with this convo. I can’t debate with someone who is willfully ignorant & refuses to look up the facts when they’re literally on the internet already & can open a tab. A simple search will suffice but I’m guessing you don’t wanna put forth the effort to read about something that proves your opinion is wrong.

Well I think our generation is lazy tho

Yes we have it worse than them economically but in many ways were still lazy regardless

U have 0 evidence where all statistics point to the fact that millenials work more hours and more people from this generation died from overworking just because we don’t work on a farm or in coal mines doesn’t mean we’re lazy.

Boomers ****ed up the housing market and now are feeding on poor millennials while having to do nothing. Tell me how many land lords you know are millennials?

Name a better country , and that is less white than the United States lol

What even does that have to do with my post? This country is great for millionaire old white people like her, and not great for people who don't fit that description.

What kind of question is this? Why emphasis on less white? What are you implying?

How many hours ur forced to work doesn't necessarily say anything about how hard a worker u are....

But i already said this is anecdotal. I can't prove this with numbers so I don't see any point in continue to argue about it

As for the housing market I don't believe it's as simple as boomers messing it up there's much more at play

Try the Clinton administration ….

Fair Housing and Finance act … meant well , but good ole' American(and Foreigner) greed and corruption caused flex financing , predatory lending and a Housing bubble where by those who kept enough cash reserve (less borrowing) made away with the vast majority of real estate wealth...causing a cascade that to this day has the upper tier pulling away and whipping out the middle class....

add a lack of regulation and foresight by the Bush era and wha la … the economy is jacked for everyone but rich people ..

Now Bernie is gonna save us buy adding more taxes on top of everything else to the non existant middle class, give away medical benefits to anyone who can scribble on the dotted line and create 20 million jobs by...how again????

pfffffffffsssssssssttttttttttt…..

I hope my grandson has  country to grow up in.....

like a cat in a sil, I observe life, moving and still. My words give a clue, look inside to see whats true

Every country has their unique factors. In mine:

- zoning, permit and construction laws have become extremely slow and new housing supply is a problem. Land sprawl restrictions is an issue also

- rent controls for many years restricted purpose built rental construction

- low interest rates are known for inflating asset prices and that includes real estate big time and rates have steadily dropped since the 1980s

At least the US had a major downturn in prices before recovery. We never did

This is Canada SMH

Which has resulted in:

Some graphs I could only find 2-3 years old but u get the point.

It's a nightmare here because of a housing boom that started 19 years ago...

That's gotta be one of the very longest housing booms in the history of the world... If we pass 20 years we will beat Japan and Swtizerlands housing booms :messga:

And unlike these countries no oversupply is forming only more shortage so no relief coming probably :deadbanana:

Ther is not a perfect country on this planet. But if she loves her country, than good for her. Its a great place to live, but it’s certainly not the only great place to live.

Because all the people in North Korea are living with equal means and their impoverished are not being exploited. I guess I should tell my polish brother in law that clearly he and his family are incorrectly remember their time standing on lines for meat and then being rejected when the rations were up...they were totally living as equally as the political leaders of the USSR....and the gays slaughtered under communist regimes CLEARLY NEVER HAPPENED. It’s evident you haven’t studied what really went on in non-capitalist countries and the level of suffering ended once capitalism took hold.

One - Democratic socialism is JUST socialism - again read the mission statement provided on the DSUSA website...and again Venezuela is a socialist regime, as is the Republic of Cuba and China (as they define themselves)  - yet their conditions are actually communist especially considering the core of socialism and communism (means of production is centralized and no class) and the only difference is the force used..YOURE the one who thinks democrats socialists are SO different when they literally say they want pure socialism to replace America’s social and economic policies but it’s me who has to do the research ... MKKAAYY SOMETHING tells me you don’t have a ‘real’ job yet .. you’ll change your tune in a few years ;)
