How can this be happening. What's going on inside those teenagers' brains...

Just because you're an adult doesn't mean you can judge teenagers.

I've been a teenager, i know how it is, that's why I don't understand how so many people can love these basic boys. When I was a teenager, I was a Monster already, fan of one of the best artists in history, not a group like 1D or BSB or whatever.

I’m trying to think of something nice to say but I can’t think of anything. Congrats tho :vegas:

Think of 2.5M copies in Asia which other artists don't have huge fans there as BTS so unfair comparison but as you said congrats :huntyga:

Hoes mad :reductive:

And if you’re here to comment that they’re all manufactured, they don’t write their own songs, you can’t understand what they’re saying, or you don’t get the hype, then don’t bother commenting lol. Especially when you’ve only listened to like 30 seconds of one song:bye:

Congrats BTS :lana:

"Hoes mad" but you look inside any Target or store which sells their albums and numerous copies line the shelves unwanted. BTS is only popular amongst their fanbase and with how toxic they are online, they will continue to solely be until they inevitably disband and settle into irrelevance like most idols do.

So you remember when Monsters were a safe haven for people like us, you know who lets our freak flags fly. These "basic" boys really helped teenagers at this time and age, where bullying is easier to happen due to social media. BTS cooperated with unicef to help kids in response of the violence happening around the world, including bullying. They had made a lot of self-love songs too and referenced depression too such in songs like "Mikrokosmos", "Love Myself" and "Shadow". It really helped because I am a teacher, and the majority of teenage ARMYs  I taught or teach today said that BTS helped them with dark times.

Yes and please erase the notion that all kpop fans are just teenagers. Again...its like saying all gaga fans are catty gay boys.

That applies to every industry in Asia since we value and assume everyone has to be hardworking lol. My relatives who work as an engineer in Japan. His normal work shift would be like from 5:30 am to 11pm and it’s normal for us. We aspire to be perfect and the common way is through over-exhausting ourself. Furthermore, it’s also coming from peer pressures, if your bosses and colleagues work 15 hours per day and you want to leave early it’s a no no. Different cultures, different practices.

I don't agree. Sorry, but I think it's SHOCKING to work 100 hours a week. That's completely crazy… Here in France, we "only" work 35h a week and it's already too much to have a real life...

What ?

I actually stated facts

Most of the asian countries are under developing or developing nations ... so people have to work harder for their needs

What's wrong saying this ??? :oprah:
