Can people stop saying the lady sang shallow better that gaga

In my brain I just can't put one above the other, to me they are both mindblowing and I respect both, they have different voices, different styles of singing, I think it's dumb to put one above or below the other

if you like one more than the other, then that's taste, but they both have skill and beautiful voices

This. It's so annoying to see fans do that nowadays because even Gaga's critics don't dogpile her like that for the most part anymore....most of the posts of the lady "singing better" were from so called Gaga fans and it was like "wtf?"

Also, they have two completely different voices and styles so it's a weird comparison anyway.

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about, to be honest, especially in Miami She growls in most of her songs that day like during Just Dance and Poker Face, which I think is cool, but I think she should tone it down for a bit. She should reduce her screams during Aura too. As much as I love Enigma, I think that she should tone the vocal acrobatics down for a bit.

Please don't drag me y'all, I love Enigma and think that she still sounds great and am one of those people who doesn't think that Gaga's voice is deteriorating.

Also, me too, I'm scared of growls when done in person because I've heard that it can actually do permanent damage to their voice once you did something wrong. Not Gaga though, because I know she can slay em

EDIT: Is it just me or is Gaga in pain during the Miami show, that's why she sounds out of breath and mostly growls with force all throughout?

I think Gaga is a bit better, but this: Two completely different vocal styles and it's bizarre people (people...the two viral tweets I saw were from Gaga "fans" dragging her and propping this woman up)  are comparing them....

It's like...comparing Ariana and Gaga makes zero sense because they have very different voices. Both are excellent singers, but are completely different.

Hopefully she knows her own limits. Like, if actual damaged (not just fatigue) starts to happen, she'll pull it back.

I thought it was pretty interesting that she implied on twitter that she was trying to quite smoking. I think she's been photographed with a cigarette (could have been a blunt, tbf) afterwards, but point is she is aware of keeping her voice healthy....

Also, while "stans" drag her she's never had to  have vocal surgery like Adele, Sam Smith, Miley, etc. which is a good sign.

We were wondering what was going on at the show. Not that we weren't having the time of our lives but Gaga's sounded better.

I hope she was just tired

But I'll be 100% honest, if I had stood in that rain for 12 hours then in the ice cold a/c for 4 just to have her cancel for any reason, I would have burnt Miami to the ground

Yeah, like there's not one only correct way to sing, there's all types of voices and there's an audience to each, if some people like Charlotte's version more, then good for them! Same if people prefer Gaga's, the problem lies in trashing any in the process, just no need to be rude, singing is such a close to heart thing to me, it's a beautiful thing to do, so trashing people for doing it specially considering they both have amazing voices, it's
