Bloomberg suffered heart attack and is same age as Bernie.

Your thread is literally fake news, as anyone who reads the receipts can see ( he already released more than other candidates). Your link says MORE, your title implies he never did it.

The snarky emoji after “heart attack” is in super bad taste, YIKES.

Bloomberg had same type of surgery in 2000, has irregular heartbeat and is on blood thinners NOW.

Bloomberg's father had rheumatic fever as a child, which weakened his heart. He died when Bloomberg was in college.

Pls stop talking about fake news when you promote them.

2.. Source for bloomberg had an heart attack.

3. Bloomberg said he will release his taxes if he wins the nomination.

Then shame on you. This is a news article and with a simple Google you can see that it is something reported by multiple sources.

@lego : stop with the lmao-ing. Show me the source.

It is sad to see people lmao-ing or disappear when I ask them for the source of their fake claims. :bye:

NEW YORK  —

Michael R. Bloomberg’s doctor says the Democratic presidential candidate is in “outstanding health,” but notes in a letter released Thursday that the 77-year-old is receiving treatment for several medical conditions, including an irregular heartbeat.

Bloomberg takes a beta blocker and medication to control his cholesterol, Dr. Stephen D. Sisson wrote, adding that he had “small skin cancers” removed and receives treatment for arthritis and heartburn, “both of which are well controlled.” The report also notes that Bloomberg had a stent put in his heart to clear an artery in 2000 and “has had normal cardiac stress testing annually since then.”

“Mr. Bloomberg is a 77-year-old man in outstanding health. There are no medical concerns, present or looming, that would prevent him from serving as President of the United States,” wrote Sisson, a professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, where the billionaire has been treated for years.

Last year, Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York City, developed an “atrial fibrillation,” a type of irregular heartbeat that can increase the risk of stroke or a blood clot, for which he takes a blood thinner, Sisson said.

y'know since some people want to cry about Bernie's medical records, where is the outcry about Bloomberg who had the same procedure done as Bernie (stents)?

Just like I said with Bernie, this really isn't a big deal as the people who regularly want to attack Bernie want to make it to be, but just want them to be outraged at Bloomberg as well since they want to attack Bernie too. I'm not going to hold my breath on certain people though. :ladyhaha:

I can understand financial records since it has to do with anti-trust issues and knowing what a candidate TRULY supports. But medical records is unnecessary and unprecedented

Oh wow. Proof that the media has reported on and does care about Bloomberg's health as early as Dec of last year. :enigma:

Oh, wow. You clearly didn't realize that my point was referring to people like you on GGD and not the media as I already knew it was reported on. :reductive:

It’s not unprecedented. Presidential candidates have released detailed medical records in previous years. It is especially important if the candidate has had past medical concerns.

It is relatively unprecedented compared to tax returns which Trump was the first to break in several presidencies. The fact that there is a plan in place should something happen to the president makes it entirely unnecessary for it to be an issue that their medical records be provided.

What this has to do with this subject?

Seriously. With 3 candidates 75+ years old, this should be a must, for all of them.

I agree! I want extensive medical records of all three. The voters need to know all the information that’s available. Candidates shouldn’t be hiding anything, financial or medical. The voters then look at all the information available and decide if something is concerning or not. Start out as honest as possible!

Bernie did state that he would release his medical records before the first votes were cast. He has failed to do so and is going back on his word. This only makes people think he has something to hide.

It's also not unprecedented for presidents to have health concerns/issues while serving as president. FDR obviously is one that comes to mind. Eisenhower had multiple strokes while in office. Teddy Roosevelt was shot during a campaign event. JFK had Addison's desease. Reagan had Alzheimers, also had prostate cancer that was operated on while in office. Woodrow Wilson hid his health issues while in office. So, I don't really interpret the notion that somebody's health is a very important factor in electing the president considering most of the people I just mentioned are some of the most well-regarded or most well known presidents in our history.
