Repeat with me: ENIGMA.IS.NOT.A.BAD.SHOW. it is indeed not a bad show, far from, but it isn't a GREAT show either imo The difference with how great JWT was (and the most of her other tours) is just big. I hope Gaga makes a great show for her next world tour.

OMonster 14,675
In this premium Billboard article, last month Bobby commented on the logistics of Enigma: That is the only direct quote Bobby gave, but the reporter also added: Spoiler Apologies if AP, but saw that this quote was being used as a rumour without any evidence. So I thought I'd provide some subtext / fantasy

OMonster 14,675
Not to be unnecessarily critical, but I find it astonishing that Enigma - as a physical set up - has, according to Bobby, had as much investment as Gaga's arena shows. The stage and overall set is, imo, of a significantly smaller scale. Sure, the actual stage might be bigger than in an arena - but everything that surrounds it feels small. For example, there are no props, no second stages (logistically impossible, but without them, I don't know how the set costs so much), no 'bridges', no elaborate structures... I mean, wow. If, without all of that, Enigma really does cost as much as an arena set-up - I really don't think Bobby got what he paid for To think JWT and Enigma may have cost a similar figure to stage... how is that possible? subtext / fantasy

I agree. Its like they threw money at the whole damn thing without really optimizing the design aspects of the show. They did not spend intelligently Imo. I would be here for a new stage and set up cause the one we got now is nothing groundbreaking aside from the screen visuals. Everything prior to Enigma seems more complex. Even the artRAVE which is just a balloon accomplishes more in terms of design and visual merits

The background effects (Gaga anime + her Enigma) cost a lot more than a stage I think, but I could be wrong
S0436 10,215
So he is just saying the stage is bigger than an arena gig and they have the same amount of crew as a regular tour. All true.
ZiggyZiggs 30,062
hmm i doubt that its more expensive than BTWB and JWT, unless the animated interludes cost them a fortune to make

Im pretty sure she dont need spend all tgis money. Maybe thats one reasons they aint changing it. Seems like they dont think things through anymore. Argh gaga... TBTWB had the unicorn, mother GOAT, the inflatable Vagina, the Vessel, the cristal bathtub, the rainbow chapels, the motorcycle, two sets of pianos, the meat grinders and couch etc... the artRAVE had the inflatable flowers, the seashell chairs, the metallic claw, the changing booth, the neon paint, the confetti, the red couch and MJH chairs, and she also compensated with good fashion like the golden koons wings, the octopus dress and the gypsy gown her prop usage decreased during the JWT and on (But the stage for the JWT made it dynamic that it did not need any. Enigma imo is too static, thanks to the geometric shapes. The interludes and catwalk are pretty cool though, and I’ll give her the metallic couch and the giant robot which are badass too
Chromichiga 184
I think Enigma tour can be really cool and successful. the oversized Costumes and blue wig need to fly off, maybe a new stage for some freshness and bring in some of that pink hair n nails n lip that we love with some good costumes 💞 I already think enigma is neat tho
