Is this the man who spit in the mouth of a fan because she asked him to? Chile the ghetto.

Taylor Swift really sat through that mess. :bradley:

I was thinking more about what happened to that woman on stage and no one really trying to stop the guy for a long time. But yea, an award ceremony would probably seem quite unlikely for an... incident like this.

She's the host, so she wasn't really under juristiction to do anything by jumping off a stage and getting her hands dirty, so all she could do was stand up there doing an "appalled" gesture.

The very same. Here it is:

And again to a different fan at the same show (the reaction of the guy at the end sums it up):

I don't even want to know where his mouth has been. Just imagine what he does to girls behind closed doors. I don't care if the girls want it, if he takes these girls up on their desperation and fame hunger, he has issues.

I know, it was hard to believe Taylor Swift was sitting somewhere watching all this mess unfold. I never thought she'd be somewhere like the NME awards in a million years. You can count on her never coming back now.

Got a lot of love for slowthai.

This is just a ‘bad boy’ stunt to build his image much like Liam Gallagher and many others have done at NME awards. This won’t be detrimental to his career if anything it will make him bigger lol

Wow fame really got to his head: sad to see. His popularity started taking off especially now that he’s being featured in the US, and I’m ashamed that one of my fave bands (Brockhampton) associates with him.

Katherine Ryan (who has a boyfriend, so it was even more disrespectful)

Umm this part of your post is kind of problematic. What, if a woman has a boyfriend then that means she's less deserving of a sexual assault than if not?

Former First Lady of the United States. Now card-carrying member of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Bad boy stunts are pathetic. It doesn't increase my respect for artists when they act stupid for attention instead of putting the focus on their music. We don't accept bad behaviour in the normal world, why praise it when it comes from celebrities?

I think it's just her comedy style to act like she was coming onto him as well. She's clearly being sarcastic but he's treating it all like she's being serious. That's partly what makes it so cringey. It doesn't change the fact that he's saying really inappropriate things to her, propositioning her and saying "no one will play with you like I can." You can bet this is how he acts with lots of women. When men act like this, it's never a once off.

Um, no. I was meaning that him making sexual advances on her, asking if she wanted to do something after the show and suggesting he'd "play with" her, makes it even worse considering she's with someone. Coming onto someone is fine in itself but only if you're being appropriate and you shouldn't do it if the person is attached. Katherine's boyfriend came with her that night and was probably backstage watching this all unfold, feeling humiliated. That's what makes it even worse. It's a different dynamic when you're single and dealing with someone you're just not interested in. But when you're with someone and that still isn't enough to make you be seen as off-limits, it's really bad.
