Levine 23,562
Buffy is my fave show all of the time! I lived for seasons 2, 3 and 5.

Logan 20,725
A very important part of my life. I remember being a little kid and watching it every week right before I went to church As a young gay kid it was very empowering to see a strong female lead kick demon ass. Even though it's an old show it still manages to do what many shows fail to do today - Make relatable, likable characters. "The hardest thing in this world is to live in it." That’s good to find inspiration from! It really was groundbreaking at the time yeah? I was late to the series but whew a classic! I think it's inevitable that it will happen but I think the fact it's been announced twice and nothing has come from it is proof that the fans don't want anything that is half assed, overly PC, or even a remake. So we shall see. I'll give it a chance but I have low expectations. If anything, if it sucks, let it get cancelled Midway through the first season. Buffy was iconic and delivered a good social message without trying too hard. They delivered the metaphors well. Which is why even though there are a lot of similar shows, very few survive a handful seasons and garner cult status and acclaim Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

Alongside he'd female African American watcher, her gay male best friend, her trans other best friend, all while modeling the Big Bad after Trump. I can't there's zero subtlety anymore. Doot 2
Fun fact for y'all, the gay film Closet Monster heavily features the concept of Buffy has the main characters coping mechanism for coming out of the closet.

You just know this is how Hollywood operates these days. By having a list of diversity cast and calling it a day instead of actually putting effort in the story, making characters relatable and compelling outside a certain SJW concept. It becomes counterproductive and borders tokenism instead. Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

I was surprised they had a somewhat interesting story for the charmed reboot, despite the fact that they consistently try to hammer in the "girl power" thing. I don't need someone constantly telling me how great women are to know how great women are. Let me just see some bad ass women kick the sht out of a demon, and I'm hooked. The way they tried to market Charmed reboot as “feminist” as if the original wasn’t lmao Anyway, I just want to point it out there that if anybody hasn’t seen Angel the series, you should check it out. Honestly I never understood how someone could watch one and not the other. The two shows go hand in hand, and quite frequently, dont make sense without the other. Buffy season 7 and Angel season 4 -force of evil attacks Sunnydale while a force of “good” arrives in LA -Spike is recently ensouled while Angel loses his soul -mass exodus away from Sunnydale while a goddess calls followers and pilgrims to LA -Willow performing the first spell she ever cast so she could be ready before returning to Sunnydale -Faith having to rediscover what it means to be a slayer before helping Buffy in Sunnydale Flyin' like a 1000 Doves
