Because her team is filled with ‘yes’ men and whenever Gaga feels like throwing a tantrum about promo/releasing/the music not being perfect enough they all seat back and let her push dates around like they arent wasting anybodies time

Didn't she used to fire ppl if they challanged her and didn't see eye to eye?

I know she fired her first choreographer Laurien Gibson because of that...

Her dancing after firing her has been... A choice... :awkney:

Everybody here talks about leaks these days, but in truth, she has a very loyal and discreet team overall. As we know, we usually see what she wants to show us. I hope this leak is not from an insider team member, but from one of her business partners.

To be fair there's a lot we don't know about what went on behind the scenes and Gaga also complained about how she was worked to death

But she did also let go a lot of ppl and appears to not want a team that pushes her but works with her so basically let's her call the shots

In a way she has that right. Its her career and if she wants to hire a team that's more assistant like and less pushy that's fine

But it also seems like the quality of a lot of stuff dropped and that was the price to pay

Her dancing was never as good again after she fired Laurien Gibson

Remember the edge of glory? When she had that big disagreement the video plans were scrapped and we got that video she did and directed herself which tbh compared to what she had been releasing I found boring AF

Her team now let's her have more freedom in decision making. It makes her work more authentic in a way

But I seriously feel like both the production quality of visuals has suffered, and marketing management has suffered also

You can't put that all on Gaga though. Laurieanne had a huge ego and believed herself to be the creator of Lady Gaga. Despite the fact that Gaga had a sonic and visual aesthetic before LG even entered the conversation. LG amped up what Gaga had to offer and they made magic together. But after the Monster Ball 2.0's success, which LG curated, she wanted more control over Gagas creative output and Gaga wasn't about to give her total reign over her visual artistry. They clashed, and Gaga ultimately let her go. And its obvious their egos were both at fault because if you've watched Laurieanne discuss the event over the years its all spelled out for you. In her most recent interview she even admitted to wanting to work with Gaga again and you can tell she was authentically embarrassed at having caved in admitting that. Gaga was only 23 when she owned pop culture, what do you think is going to happen when you give a young person the world. The only difference is Gaga is a woman who was already divisive, vs someone like Kanye or Bieber constantly being given passes because theyre men despite the fact that their douchebaggery and toxicity is infinitely beyond anything Gaga is ever accused of. Yet their careers and respect remain intact while people make a point to keep Gaga buried.

Ya'll claiming that she just has "yes" men is the kind of narrative detractors want pushed. When in actuality I think everyone at her level has "yes" men. Its irrelevant to the output and release trajectory. Its more that unlike some of her top 40 peers, Gaga really wants to rule over her output and not rely on others vs. people like Bey or Rih putting out amazing content because a lot of it is in the hands of others. Which im not knocking at all, I just think Gaga wants to make a point not to do that and to try to get a hit record on her own terms. It just hasnt been working as shes wanted it to. Imo of course.

Which is totally fine. If u read my comment carefully I did say it's her career and she has that right to control ultimately if she wants it

All I'm saying is, I don't think she's managing it herself with more control as well as it was when other had more control

I'm not saying she can't control her career if it makes her happy to do so and again it's her right and makes her authentic as I said

I'm only pointing out there's has been a side effect or price to pay for that tho in the sense that she doesn't appear to be very organized or have good management skills and as a result stuff has gotten messier and less well planned. Neither does her manager Bobby as far as it seems

Born this way was messy and she had all of her old team then, everyone still blamed her. The fame monster being released as an ep/re release instead of her second LP was also a blunder due to her then management. No rollout has been perfect.
