HorusRa2 5,005
As anybody who discusses the 2020 election knows, I am not a huge Warren fan. But I am floored by the articles below and am really surprised at the problems that are coming up. Does anyone here volunteer with the Warren campaign and can you shed any light into your experience? Also, what does this mean going forward? Does this mean Warren will drop out if she doesn't win New Hampshire? etc. etc. Topline from Nevada Turmoil A half-dozen women of color have departed Elizabeth Warren’s Nevada campaign in the run-up to the state’s caucuses with complaints of a toxic work environment in which minorities felt tokenized and senior leadership was at loggerheads. The six staffers have left the roughly 70-person Nevada team since November, during a critical stretch of the race. Three of them said they felt marginalized by the campaign, a situation they said didn’t change or worsened after they took their concerns to their superiors or to human resources staff. Elizabeth Warren's campaign is trying to conserve cash and pulled down TV ads in Nevada and South Carolina after a disappointing third-place standing in Iowa that failed to provide a fundraising bump. “I just always want to be careful about how we spend our money,” Warren (D-Mass.) said Wednesday after being asked about the roughly $375,000 of TV ads pulled in two states that vote later this month. She added that her cash comes from people who make small donations. “I just want to be very careful with this money,” she said. Warren on Wednesday also yanked an additional $100,000 worth of ads, mostly in South Carolina markets but also in Reno, Nev., according to Advertising Analytics, which tracks campaign spending on television. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/after-disappointing-iowa-vote-warren-says-she-needs-to-be-careful-with-money/2020/02/05/a01ad81e-4842-11ea-bc78-8a18f7afcee7_story.html

That and the stunt with her trying to paint Bernie as a sexist made me view her in such negative light. I still think she's the best candidate after Sanders, but a far ways away from what I thought would be a maybe-Warren-maybe-Sanders vote for me. HorusRa2 5,005
I just don't understand the way she's ran her campaign this entire time. I liked Warren more at the beginning of the primary. I got frustrated at one point because people were calling for Bernie to drop out and endorse Warren but there's just been so many mistakes that haven't helped her. I don't know if it's just she has poor political instincts, if she tries too hard to be everything for everybody or if she is just listening to the wrong advisers (she has a lot of former Clinton staff on her team). @JusKeepBreathin - the more likely scenario is that her support will split for Pete/Bernie probably at about a 60/40 split. Harris Walz 2024 1,451
She still has 18% of the Democratic vote. Why would she abandon that ? That is a huge block that could easily sway the Primary election. She should fight on. We need female candidates and representation !
Bt1 5,213
I hope she will stay until Super Tuesday since it seems that all moderates are staying in the race. People with less support are fighting, so she should do the same.

Not after the way Bernie supporters roasted her. I remember the word snake and there is even a GGD member here the superimposed her image on The Reputation album cover.
