This ridiculous notion that Democrats can't be critiqued or criticized for the wrong things they do because it means they'll lose is false on so many levels. Hate to break it to you, but we're not Republicans or the right. We hold our politicians and legislators accountable for their wrongs and mistakes. We don't just let them get away with things. That's called having actual ethics and principles. The idea that we shouldn't have those and so be just like Republicans is comical. We can critique them and build enough public pressure to hopefully get them to make the right choice. That's what politics is supposed to be about. Not let legislators do whatever they want and never have to answer for anything like Trump supporters and Republican voters do. And I'm so sick of people like you who fail to realize that and cry "unity or we'll lose" BS because you can't handle your precious Dems to be criticized. But unfortunately we are NOT living in normal times now. We have an Authoritarian Tyrant trying to Rule this country with an IRON 👊🏿 Fist at the moment. Unlike ANY president in U.S. History! He is TRULY an existential threat to ALL we hold dear as a country & as liberals in general. And if you cannot see the STARK difference between him & someone like Nancy Pelosi(despite her faults), then I don’t even know what to tell ya...
