After such a slow January, the month for new exciting movies have comes, and BOP got the honor to open the season, this movie have released in some part of the world today. And it will release in NA on February 7 2020. With some early screening here and there. Anyone seen it yet? If you have, what is your verdict? And if you haven’t, are you planning to? I have. And I really enjoyed it, fam! Despite my initial reaction with the first trailer last year, this movie is actually pleasantly good! The movie as a whole is actually very, very entertaining! It is very action packed, and it brings great actions, good martial arts choreo, especially Harley Quinn, of course! The comedy are in there, however it is not so overbearing. It was there as the seasoning, than the main dish. And the girl squad thing happened very naturally, it doesn't feel forced at all. And even though Harley is the main character, the other girls wasn’t left out in the background at all. They are all got storylines. And I love me some Canary! This movie really feels like how you would imagine if 2000s Charlie’s Angels were rated R. All in all, I say this movie is worth checking out! I still think they should’ve gone with a Gotham City Sirens movie instead of a Birds of Prey movie, but I’ve largely accepted the direction they’re going in. I’m still debating about whether I’m going to see this movie in theaters, but I’m definitely eventually going to watch it. Tbh, I’m mostly going to watch it for Harley Quinn, I really don’t care about the rest of the cast, but I love Margot’s Harley SOOO much! She will. It is a fair compromise. The plot is not too comic, but the character depiction is pretty much is.This movie is one of those DCEU that I personally think done right. Which I am pleased to see and experience. It got mainstream appeal to it. Even Margot’s depiction of Harley here is much better. It feels like this film is more focused on her maddnes rather than her beauty. They even made her cut the hair! lmao When I saw the thumbnail of the trailer the first time, before even watching the actual trailer, I thought it was like a parody, like it wasn't margot robbie. Harley has been one of my favorite characters for a long time, and I think Margot Robbie did her justice, but the character of Harley Quinn is more than just the psycho sex kitten Suicide Squad made her into.
