My Take on Enigma Lite

I saw the show.

I love Gaga from the bottom of my existence. I even have her tattooed my arm. She really is the artist of our generation.

But enigma is incredibly disappointing. The production is so poor comparing to her other shows like TFMB and BTWB and artRave (which was the best show ever). 

This seems like a narrative made by somebody else and she's just playing a script she didn't wrote. 

The costumes are so cringe, that blue wig is a joke. That fake tan and the color of her lips is so wrong no matter what perspective you choose to see this is wrong even for a parody.  

For the first time I want to see her jazz and piano show more than than enigma. 

I honestly started to think that she's doing this on purpose. She sets  the expectations so low that we'll be blown away by her next era. Or she's trying to move to a place that visuals aer not a thing. She's trying to make visual impact worthless and the voice "great again"

Love you Gaga, no matter what path you choose to follow, I will be by your side no matter what. You've changed my life and I will always stan the **** out of your vision.

Did you see Enigma in Vegas? I haven’t gone yet but I’m going in May and I’m so excited to experience it!!!! AHHH

I think she did amazing, considering the show is designed for Vegas, and, on top of that, had to be modified (taking a huge element out, like Scheiße). Also, a lot of the audience were less than casual fans (just rich people or network employees). Her and the team carried the show amazingly and had to work extra hard to keep the energy high. Yes, Enigma will probably be go down in history as our least-favorite show, but she still proved she is a dedicated and spectacular performer.

Visuals and backdrops are amazing (defo best she had, screen feels like a 3D), props are cool and lights are fking amazing when u watch a real HD cam , so i Bet u will have a blast in vegas

I have thought about this, but I recently watched TBTWB and... yeah the monologues were definitely better - they are actually somewhat poetic. The plot was ridiculous but still made sense to a degree without being as simplistic as Enigma.

"A prisoner in a fantasy alien territory escapes to give birth to a new prejudice-free race" is also just generally a more exciting premise than "Enigma from the planet Enigma takes Gaga into a simulation of the future to discover her true self" IMO.

I think the main difference though is the execution. If she didn't say all the Enigma lines in that painful white woman blaccent it would be far, far more tolerable. I really can't understand where this charicature accent is coming from, it has to be one of the most ridiculous things she's ever done

Drama. Most of the coments are construtive. If Gaga can't handle them after a decade then I don't know why she keeps going.

Silence is a blessing sometimes. Just go to another thread instead. Dont go overreacting when we are discussing the show politely. Not even one person made a cheap negative comment. 

The boots are ugly. She doesn't need to wear wheels since it's bad for her health, but that doesn't make them the most gorgeous boots ever. Also, that kind of boots are bad for feet posture and they are probably heavier.

No one actually cares this much about the heels. People are looking at the boots, and think they're ugly. That's it. It's not as if those are the ONLY shoes she can possibly wear that won't hurt her. There are a million other pairs of nice looking flat shoes out there. And especially given that these were custom made there is no real reason for a multi-millionaire fashion icon with connections to every major designer to be wearing ugly shoes.

Some people are so sensitive. Do they think gaga is crying reading this? She's  probably  suffocating with some French kissing by her  new bf  in her mansion with her chickens and dogs all around.

I enjoy most of it, but the black caricature is correct. I found myself nervous and praying she wouldn’t throw in any more Ebonics. Felt the same way when I saw it in Vegas. It was uncomfortable and out of place. That shouldn’t happen lol

Enigma being a member of the Enigma race from the planet Enigma, and lines like "One wrong move and you'll be stuck in the simulation forever!" "But why?" "Because... that's just the way the simulation works" are just less convincing than say, the BTW monologue

I hated JWT cause that stage was all over the place and you couldn’t see her very well when she walked on those things etc. but it was way cooler than Enigma...

Yep, it’s almost a matter of taste, or lack of it, at this point
