Basically the title. Who are some of your favorite artists that don’t fall under the pop category?

a few of my favorites:

MEMBA (they are criminally underrated and I’m expecting them to get huge in the next few years)

Odesza (their shows are unreal)

ford. (super chill, good background music for work or studying)

Yahtzel

Just trying to find new stuff and break up the monotony of every topic being about Dua or Billie :lolly:

reality’s tight if the music is right

Bring Me The Horizon - some highlights:

Literally for any taste, whether you want electronic rock or alternative rock or pop punk or metalcore or deathcore, etc. They’ve done almost everything.

i guess you know "not known"? :poot: because if not imma say Nicki and Avicii, who are not pop exactly idk

anyways, here are my picks

Nicky Romero: I've been a fan since like 2012 and he has served quality, variety and consistency to be a superstar DJ on par with Avicii, Kygo, etc but life is unfair. He switches between more radiofriendly dance songs, electro club bangers and progressive melodic tracks :flower: a king.

Mahalia: an R&B singer from the UK that released an album last year called Love & Compromise which has absolutely incredible songs, like this one

AlunaGeorge: Future R&B duo from the UK which serves QUALITY. Usually their songs are a mix of R&B with electronic music, but they also have more pop and dancehall influenced tracks.

Aleesha: This gurl makes awesome music :bradley: She's a spanish R&B/Hip-Hop singer based in barcelona which debuted last year and she's getting slowly bigger. Deserves to be one of the biggest artists in the spanish urban scene.

Oques grasses: The gheys ain't gonna like them but they are a local band from catalonia that's been slaying the last year and they have a lot of bops :ally:
