I'm really enjoying the album. There are some songs I know I'll never listen to again after my first listen (like BFF and Father Daughter Dance), but most of the rest of it is very replayable.

I'd say Tonight, Raising Hell, Birthday Suit, and Kinky are probably my favorites, in that order.

I hope Kinky becomes a single so we can get a radio edit without the dumb intro :laughga:

Also, The Potato Song is obviously very weird but I kind of love it. It sounds like something Maurice Sendak would have written as a children's story.

I have mixed feelings about the album, the songs I do like i REALLY like but there are others I could easily never listen to again.

I love Little Bit Of Love, Potato Song is lowkey a silly bop, Tonight got better with each listen, Shadow is a nice song too. Raising hell is THE bop for me still.

I like parts of Kinky but some fell flat. Loved the little Ke$ha part though

i could easily never listen to cowboy blues, summer and maybe honey ever again. Other tracks I’m still on the fence with them

but overall I think I like it. Probably will end up liking more of it by the end of the week

"High Road" could chart #5-#8 with 40-50k units (30-35k being pure) :bradley:

She deserves better but it's not so bad considering the complete disaster of the singles :enigma:

I know :messga: anyways I’m happy we got another great album. Wonder if the label is going to give her a lot funding for the next album?

Used to be HighRoad

I was really hoping for something more after Rainbow. She got a bit silly with quite a few of these songs and I was preferring the mature but fun loving Kesha we got with Rainbow. With stuff like Kinky and The Potato Song, it felt like she was just being silly for the sake of trying to be like her old self, but in a more alternative way. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's ok but with a couple of exceptions, there's not much to write home about this time. Father Daughter Dance is an absolute stunner, she really pulls off vulnerable well and this is a side of her that needs more focus.

Cuz Rainbow was all serious and mature? Hunt You Down? Woman? Boots? Let 'em Talk? Boogie Feet? Godzilla? Spaceship?

Kesha has always always always included 50% fun pop with 50% ballads or more serious. Which is always a perfect mix. This time, with Shadow, Father Daughter Dance, Cowboy Blues, Resentment, and Summer she's delivering more vulnerability than she ever has. The Tonight Kinky High Road songs are just perfect party kickstarters!

Kinky is a good song but that long ass intro is annoying as hell. she ****ed it up

You can edit it out, make the song begin at 0:34 seconds you can do it on iTunes/Apple Music by right clicking the song

She’s celebrating being happy, this album puts me in a good mood and i’m glad she’s in a right place !
