ItsTommyBitch 12,640 Posted January 28, 2020 Share Posted January 28, 2020 To people who say Michael Bloomberg isn't that bad - remember that anyone can pay a bunch of establishment apparatchiks and think tank officials to come up with a "platform" that looks good on paper and is a scientifically calculated mix of populism and establishment sentiment - especially a Billionaire. The difference is that not every candidate can be trusted to commit to that platform, or to not use it as grandstanding for something they don't believe in, and all we have to base our view of that on is their records. Luckily, Michael Bloomberg's records are readily available. Michael Bloomberg has publicly stated and held positions to the right of Democrats for decades, and he has even been a Republican in the past when it suited him. To me, we are losing no matter what if the candidate is Bloomberg, Biden, Warren, etc. I see this as our window to stand up to the undemocratic establishment who have corrupted our system. Remember the non-stop negative articles about Pete in December when he polled 1st in Iowa? Remember the non-stop negative articles in November about Warren when she was on the rise? Now that Bernie is polling 1st in a lot of polls, it is his turn to face the heightened scrutiny. Stop acting like everything's a damned conspiracy. Be smarter than that.
