Bobbins 1,760
So now that Billie Eilish the biggest popstar in the world winning 5 Grammys (4 in the major categories), and a future Oscar with the Bond song, Interscope will be prioritizing her over Gaga. This is dangerous especially because Billie markets her self with the 'weird' popstar brand and relates the generation Z more than Gaga.

AlexanderMagno 10,746
lol well, the whole Cheek to Cheek - Joanne - ASIB agenda was a clever way to appeal to a more adult audience. I think you're too many years late, Gaga is not this generation's pop star for a while.
Morphine Prince 104,904
Can we stop with this? They’re both in their own lane. Interscope is not going to dump Gaga somewhere. Gaga is 10+ years into the game and has received numerous accolades. Interscope is focusing on Billie cause she’s hot atm kinda like they did with Gaga but that doesn’t mean Gaga is in “danger”

Morphine Prince 104,904
Also, Gaga is not going to appeal to Gen Z. Y’all need to realize all of us who were teens when Gaga blew up are now in our mid-20’s or older. Every generation has their own share of artists that were the most relevant in their teen years or “youth”
Harris Walz 2024 1,451
That's what people said about Ariana last year. Things change fast even for superstars. Only time will tell if Billie remains in the upper tier of musicians.

Mister G 10,341
Katy Perry scored 5 #1’s on the Billboard Hot 100 back in 2011. She didn’t win a Grammy in any category in 2012 for the Born This Way era and lost out to Adele everywhere. ARTPOP didn’t even get nominated. Gaga survived all of that and here we are in 2020. Joanne and ASIB, two of her biggest commercial success stories of the last few years. 11 time Grammy winner. People have to remember that now that it’s roughly 12 years into the art that is Lady Gaga, her fans have gotten older. The newer artists will generally appeal, at first, to the younger folks out there. These numbers games don’t mean anything anymore because ultimately it’s up to each artist to figure out what impact they will make and how to strive for longevity. As far as Gaga, she ain’t going anywhere.
